Celebrate the women in your life with an all pink party…You can take these easy, affordable, and DIY tips directly home and use them to honor those amazing women that surround you every day.
How to Throw an All Pink Party:
Pink Your Drink!
Toast your all pink party with this all pink drink –
1 oz Chambord
1 oz honey vodka
1 oz lime juice
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into crushed ice-filled rocks glass. Top with more crushed ice. Garnish with two raspberries.
• Decorate cocktail glasses with festive embellishments like pink marabou boa, pink ribbon, and sparkly, hot pink pipe cleaners. Collins glasses also look great with a wide band of ribbon around the base and a pink straw.
• Adhesive-backed craft rhinestones are great for adding a small dose of sparkle, or you can also use a more intricate rhinestone motif to make the guest of honor’s glass extra-special! Ready-made stickers like the flower rhinestone pictured here are available at most craft and scrapbooking stores, and they have a clear backing that enables you to peel and stick them in one easy motion.
• Pink chipboard letters are another quick & easy way to dress up stemware, and they come with the added bonus of doubling as a drink marker so that guests can keep track of their glass! Use a small jewelry ring or piece of wire to attach the letter to the stem. The letters look very fun when paired with pink marabou boa.
Create a Pink Dessert Buffet! Set out a spread of sweet treats with a common ingredient: PINK! Everything from candy to cookies to cupcakes will work. We even have pink centerpieces that will wow your guests (but not break the bank).
• DIY Pink Sweets:
Keep things simple & easy by dressing up store-bought treats instead of making everything from scratch. Here are a few ideas:
1. Pink-Dipped Treat Sticks
2. Drizzled Pink Cookies
3. Simple-Chic Pink Cupcakes
4. Pink Marshmallow Pops
• Just add Pink Ribbons…and Papers.
A simple band of pink ribbon or scrapbook paper will instantly transform simple clear or white serving dishes into fun, themed displays! Also try criss-crossing light pink ribbon all the way around clear glass containers and lining white trays with coordinating decorative papers.
• Bling, Bling!
Pink craft gems & rhinestones will add some fun sparkle to the dessert buffet! Use them to dress up containers or individually wrapped treats. Look for adhesive-backed gems to keep things easy.
• Create Visual Interest.
Use tiered serving dishes or upside-down bowls and tall candleholders to add height to some of your treat displays. Add a few non-edible decorative elements as well, such as a floral arrangement or Pink Ribbon Tree centerpiece and a table runner.
• Lollipop, Lollipop.
Cover any flavor or brand of lollipop with pink tissue paper to create a color-coordinating treat. Twist the tissue under the bottom of the candy top and secure with a pink ribbon.
• A Sassy Centerpiece.
For an affordable, eye-catching centerpiece try using craft tree branches spray painted pink along with ribbon, and of course pink roses.
Pink-Dipped Treat Sticks
You’ll need: pink Candy Melts, pretzel rods or cookies sticks, such as Pirouettes, and white nonpareils
Directions: Melt the candy in the microwave, according to package instructions. Dip the pretzel rod or cookie into the melted candy, until about 1/3 of it is coated. Sprinkle nonpareils onto the candy coating right away, and let harden.
Drizzled Pink Cookies
You’ll need: pink Candy Melts, vanilla sandwich cookies, white nonpareils, and zipper sandwich bags
Directions: First, lay the sandwich cookies out on wax paper. Next, melt the candy in the microwave, according to package instructions. Spoon some of the melted candy into a zip-lock bag, then twist the bag at the top to secure. Snip off one of the corners of the bag to create a small opening, then drizzle strings of melted candy onto the cookies using a side-to-side or back-and-forth motion. Sprinkle white nonpareils onto the cookies while the candy drizzle is still warm.
Simple-Chic Pink Cupcakes
You’ll need: 1 box Strawberry Cake Mix, 1 tub Vanilla Frosting (store-bought), Pink Sprinkles, cupcake liners, Decorating Bag, & Open Star Decorating Tip Directions: Bake cupcakes according to box directions, and let cool. Spoon frosting into decorating bag. Use the decorating tip to pipe frosting onto the center of the cupcake, starting in the middle and using a circular motion to get closer to the edges. Make sure to leave about a ½” border of the cupcake frosting-free all the way around so that the pink cupcake can be seen on the top. Add the pink sprinkles while the frosting is still sticky.
Pink Marshmallow Pops
You’ll need: large marshmallows, pink Candy Melts, pink M&M’s (or similar candy), white nonpareils, 6” lollipop sticks
Directions: Insert the lollipop sticks into the marshmallows & set aside. Melt the candy in the microwave, according to package instructions. Dip each marshmallow (with stick) into the melted candy, until about ½ of the marshmallow is coated. Sprinkle with nonpareils, and top with a pink M&M while candy coating is still warm.
With all these treats, you and your guests are guaranteed to have a fabulous time. Enjoy and thank you for your support!
